Regional Medical Advisor
Dr. Hashrat is based in Bangladesh and ensures clinical quality in Bangladesh, the Philippines, Vietnam, PHS India and FRHS India in her current role as Regional Medical Advisor.
Over the course of her career she has worked in multiple countries in the field of sexual and reproductive health as an obstetrician, gynaecologist and public health specialist. She started her career with Marie Stopes Bangladesh in 1995, and subsequently became a member of the Senior Management Team, where she was responsible for several large scale projects across hard-to-reach areas of Bangladesh.
Hashrat joined the Medical Development Team (MDT) in 2008 and has been actively involved in assuring clinical qualities align with best practices and clinical guidelines ever since. She is one of MDT's dedicated trainers and consistently strives to develop the capacity of clinical providers to make Marie Stopes International's services as safe as possible. She also collaborates with regional operations as a focal point regarding clinical quality of sexual and reproductive health service delivery.
