Regional Medical Advisor
An accomplished obstetrician and gynaecologist, Dr. Thida began her MSI career nearly a decade ago as the Clinical Services Manager for our Myanmar programme. She now works on the Medical Development Team as a Regional Medical Advisor, providing peer-to-peer quality technical assistance and assessment to programmes in Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Timor-Leste and India. She has also contributed to the improvement of clinical governance in Timor-Leste.
Her specialist areas include family planning services including long-acting reversible contraception (LARC), permanent methods and CCSPT, and she is one of MSI’s master trainers, carrying out Training of Trainers (ToT) in family planning.
